Lindsay Lohan earns tops in the new list of Dumb celebrities.
The poll conducted by a newspaper judged celebrities based on their intelligence quotients (IQs), poor fashion choices, and bad judgement, reports thesun.co.uk.
Having spent some time in rehab and jail earlier this year, sexy Lindsay Lohan was chosen as the dumbest celebrity for her "poor movie choices, delinquent behaviour and bad taste in men".
She appeared in a slew of flops in 2007 and got romantically involved with Calum Best and Riley Giles whom she met in rehab.
Others on the list include Kim Kardashian, "The Hills" star Spencer Pratt, and Shia LaBeouf who most recently appeared in "The Transformers".
Club displays Kylie Minogue Pictures?
Lawyers of pop star Kylie Minogue have served a notice to an Australian strip club to remove a picture of her from their window.
Contactmusic.com reports that Minogue's lawyers said the use of her picture on the club's window indicated that she endorsed it, but the club's owner Garth Rossen claims Minogue's legal team has mistaken the identity of the person in the picture.
He said the risqué outfit worn by the Kylie Minogue look-alike in the picture should be clear enough indication that it is not Minogue. "What would a nice girl like Kylie Minogue be doing in a wet top like that?" he asked.
But he added that he would bring the picture down. "We wouldn't want to upset Kylie Minogue. Not at Christmas anyway."
Madame Tussauds gets Nicole Kidman
Nicole’s statue now stands besides those of fellow Hollywood stars Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie. This statue was inveiled by December 2007. Hollywood celebrities statues can increase the bussiness.
According to News.com.au, the wax model bears such an uncanny resemblance to Nicole Kidman that it would be hard to spot the difference between it and the real Nicole.
The designers reportedly spent about three months in crafting the wax figure based on thousands of photographs of the Golden compass star.
Madame Tussauds spokesman Ben Lovett said that there is no doubt that Kidman is a global celebrity and they are pleased to unveil her.
"There's no mistaking that she is a hugely popular global celebrity and we are delighted to be unveiling her," the website quoted Lovett as saying.
“Nicole is wearing a stunning floor-length red dress which really emphasises her flawless beauty and grace, idolised by so many women around the world,” he added. In 2006, Nicole Kidman became the highest paid actress in the film industry.
Pamela scores as Sexiest Woman Ever
The erstwhile Baywatch babe Pamela topped the AOL list, where the editors of the website gave her the top honour for taking ‘bodacious to a new level’.
The other hotties who have made it to the list are - Desperate Housewives star Eva Longoria Parker, Katherine Heigl, Jessica Alba and former Buffy The Vampire Slayer star Charisma Carpenter.
Veteran TV pin-ups Jaclyn Smith from Charlie's Angels and original Catwoman Julie Newmar also made it to the countdown.
Eva Mendes bares for PETA
Actress Eva Mendes has joined the list of celebrities, including Alicia Silverstone, Christina Applegate, Kim Basinger and Pamela Anderson, who have gone nude to support ‘People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals’ (PETA).
The 32-year-old actress Eva Mendes stripped off for the latest in a series of posters for PETA.
There are way too many amazing faux-fur options out there for people to still be wearing the real thing,” The Sun quoted Mendes, as saying.
I want people to know that killing a poor animal and wearing her fur isn't cool,” Eva Mendes added.
The ‘Hitch’ actress, whose credits her beloved dog for showing her the light, said: “Respecting all life forms is cool.
Britney cross Paris Hilton
Britney Spears and Paris Hilton are playing a war game these days. Britney has reportedly warned Paris Hilton that she could soon be embroiled in another Paris Hilton sex tape scandal.
As to why Britney would turn on the hotel heiress, it seems that the two women had a falling out over the weekend when the singer was celebrating her 26th birthday party in Bel Air. Partygoers claimed that Britney saw red when Paris walked past her without wishing her happy birthday, even though she was aware that it was the singer’s birthday.
A source revealed that Spears, along with a pal, has now written Paris a letter in which she warns her about thealleged Paris Hilton sex tape.
Britney and her pals wrote to Paris and told her they are hearing rumours of a new Paris Hilton sex-tape scandal – similar to the One Night In Paris footage of her ex-boyfriend Rick Salomon put on the web four years ago,” the Daily Express quoted the source, as saying.
The letter also claims the tape shows footage of Paris locking lips with one of Britney’s female friends at a party.
It warns Paris that if she continues being rude to people, the footage will be leaked online. Britney and her pals also end their note by telling Paris they look forward to hearing back from her.”
A source close Hilton however said that she was not worried about the letter.
It’s obvious Britney and her bratty pals are being silly. Paris laughed when she got the letter, supposedly from Britney and said it was ‘crap’,” the source said.
Maiah Carey denies
Recently Mariah Carey is reportedly said that she would rather appear on stage with a certain animal than ever share it with Lopez. However Carey is fighting back this report and says that is a complete untruth. Carey has a new album due out in the spring, shortly after Lopez is due to give birth.
